I bought a PS3 intending to do it too, but the disc mechanism is stuffed and costs too much to repair.
I'm in Sydney, so not far. Gerroa is great location - I was in Gerringong in Jan for holidays.

DVD-R, jewel case, packing materials and return postage.) This is a limited time offer - until my PS3 dies (these old units are notorious for that!) or until I get sick of doing it. You can choose your output from: an ISO file for the disc, or individual track files in DFF or DSF format, multi-channel or stereo (as per the disc contents).
Due to postage costs I think this service would be uneconomical for anyone outside Australia, but if you really can find no better option you are still welcome.
Anyone wishing to avail himself/herself of this service, please PM me for postal address details.
