SAULT STE MARIE, Ont. - One winning streak was bound to end of Sunday.
Anthony DeAngelo had a five-point night — including two goals — as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds extended their streak to nine games with a 8-3 rout of the London Knights in Ontario Hockey League action. The loss snaps a seven-game streak for the Knights (37-21-3).
Michael Bunting also scored twice for Sault Ste. Marie (47-11-2), which had six goals in the final two periods. Zachary Senyshyn, Jared McCann, Sergey Tolchinsky and Jean Dupuy rounded out the attack.
Max Domi and Matt Rupert found the back of the net for London in the first with Aaron Berisha adding another in the third period. Rupert was later ejected at 8:26 of the second period after receiving a major penalty for checking from behind.
Brandon Halverson got the win in goal, stopping 26 shots. Tyler Parsons started for the Knights and turned away 30-of-36 shots in 41:10. Michael Giugovaz went the rest of the way and kicked out 10 shots.
The Greyhounds scored twice on three power plays while holding London scoreless on two attempts.

GUELPH, Ont. — Tyler Boston's first-period goal stood as the winner as the Storm got past Kitchener.
Phil Baltisberger opened the scoring with a short-handed goal while Pius Suter added an empty-netter for Guelph (34-23-4).
Ryan MacInnis scored his 22nd goal of the season for the Rangers (27-22-10), as their losing streak was extended to five games.

STEELHEADS 4 WOLVES 3
MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Bryson Cianfrone had the winner as the Steelheads rallied with three goals in the third period to beat Sudbury.
Nathan Bastian and Brandon Devlin also scored in the third for Mississauga (23-35-3), which snapped an eight-game skid.
Pavel Jenys struck twice for the Wolves (10-48-2), with Matt Schmalz adding the other.

STING 4 SPITFIRES 2
WINDSOR, Ont. — Pavel Zacha and Davis Brown found the back of the net in the third period as Sarnia doubled up the Spitfires.
Jakob Chychrun and Stephen Pierog scored in the second for the Sting (27-27-7).
Hayden McCool opened the scoring on the power play for Windsor (24-32-3) with Slater Doggett adding the other.

OSHAWA, Ont. — Brent Pedersen and Kenny Huether had goals in the second period as the Generals got past Peterborough.
Bradley Latour and Mitchell Vande Sompel scored in the first period for Oshawa (46-9-5).
Hunter Garlent chipped in with a goal for the Petes (24-29-6).
