Season series: The Minnesota Wild have won each game against the Calgary Flames this season, winning 1-0 on Jan. 29 and 3-2 in overtime on Feb. 18. Each game was at the Scotiabank Saddledome. Goaltender Devan Dubnyk is 2-0-0 with a 0.98 goals-against average and a .970 save percentage.

Flames team scope: Calgary did not practice Friday as they travelled to the Twin Cities to kick off a five-game road trip. The Flames lost 4-3 in a shootout to the Dallas Stars on Wednesday. The one point moved them one up on the Los Angeles Kings in the Pacific Division (entering Thursday) and to within three of the Wild for the first wild card spot into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Western Conference. Goaltender Jonas Hiller has been in net for each loss against the Wild, but has been stellar in each game. He is 0-1-1 with a 2.00 goals-against average and a .934 save percentage, and has solid career numbers against the Minnesota (11-6-1, 2.35, .917).

Wild team scope: Minnesota practiced at Xcel Energy Center on Thursday. After swapping Mikael Granlund and Mikko Koivu during the third period of a 2-1 win against the New York Islanders on Tuesday, coach Mike Yeo put Granlund back on the top line between Zach Parise and Jason Pominville. Kyle Brodziak, who missed the game Tuesday with a lower-body injury, did not practice and won't play Friday. Ryan Carter, out since Feb. 9 with an upper-body injury, has been practicing and was cleared to play on Monday but is questionable. Dubnyk will start his 33rd consecutive game. Minnesota is 4-1-0 against Calgary in its past five games in St. Paul and 14-5-1 versus the Flames in its past 20 overall.
