Season series: Left wing Max Pacioretty scored twice, including the game-winning goal, and goalie Carey Price made 31 saves in the Montreal Canadiens' 4-1 victory against the St. Louis Blues on Nov. 20 at Bell Centre.

Canadiens team scope: Center Alex Galchenyuk will return to the Canadiens on Tuesday after missing the past two games with the flu, according to coach Michel Therrien. "It's good to be back," Galchenyuk told reporters after practice Monday. "It's nice to get the first practice out of the way after being sick. I should feel better [Tuesday]." Defenseman Sergei Gonchar (upper body) traveled with the team to St. Louis but is unlikely to play against the Blues after missing the past four games. PA Parenteau (concussion) practiced in a non-contact jersey Monday with Gonchar and will travel to St. Louis. The Canadiens begin a quick two-game trip after going 3-1-1 in the past five games. Pacioretty was named the NHL's Third Star of the Week on Monday after posting four goals and two assists in four games.

Blues team scope: The Blues, 3-3-0 at home in February, practiced Monday with a bit of a new look to their forward lines. Left wing Patrik Berglund was moved up to the top line with David Backes and T.J. Oshie, left wing Alexander Steen was moved to the line with Jori Lehtera and Vladimir Tarasenko, and Jaden Schwartz took Berglund's spot with Paul Stastny and Dmitrij Jaskin. "There's a couple lines, they looked very good today," coach Ken Hitchcock said after practice. "If there's good energy, then we'll continue down that path. If not, we'll make a change." Goalie Jake Allen, who played junior hockey in Montreal, will start Tuesday. Left wing Steve Ott, who missed the 4-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday because of the birth of his son, was back practicing Monday. Hitchcock said defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk (abdominal surgery) skated for about 30 minutes and has skated the past few days but is still weeks away from returning.
