The Montreal Alouettes have added another quarterback to the fold, signing former Hamilton Tiger-Cats backup Dan LeFevour on Wednesday.

LeFevour saw his most significant action with the Tiger-Cats last year when starter Zach Collaros went down with a head injury. The 27-year-old threw for 1,276 yards and four touchdowns to four interceptions while adding four scores on the ground for the Ticats before his season was ended prematurely with a knee injury.

"We are excited to add Dan to our mix of quarterbacks," Alouettes GM Jim Popp said in a team statement. "He has continued to grow and build off his outstanding collegiate career. He brings quality, experience, leadership, and competition to our team."

The Central Michigan product has been with the Ticats since 2012.
