OWEN SOUND, Ont. - Petrus Palmu scored a power-play goal to open the scoring in the first period, then added the shootout winner as the Owen Sound Attack edged the Kitchener Rangers 5-4 in Ontario Hockey League action on Thursday.
Zach Nastasiuk had two goals in regulation for the Attack (16-10-8), including a short-handed marker in the second period. Ethan Szypula also scored and Chris Bigras chipped in with assists on all four regulation-time goals.
Ryan MacInnis led the Rangers (15-12-7) with a power-play goal and an assist. Gustaf Franzen, Mason Kohn and Darby Llewellyn supplied the rest of the offence.
Attack goaltender Michael McNiven stopped 30 shots through regulation and overtime and two more in the shootout for the victory.
Kitchener's Matthew Greenfield made 26 saves through 65 minutes and one stop in the shootout.

OSHAWA, Ont. —Sam Harding scored the only goal of a shootout to lift the Generals over North Bay.
Cole Cassels had the regulation-time goal for Oshawa (28-5-1), tying the game on the power play at 6:36 of the second period. Goalie Ken Appleby stopped 28 shots and all five Battalion skaters in the shootout.
Alex Henriksson scored a power-play goal for North Bay (17-9-7), while Jake Smith made 42 saves through regulation and overtime and four more in the shootout.

BULLS 2 FRONTENACS 0
BELLEVILLE, Ont. — Charlie Graham made 29 saves as the Bulls blanked Kingston.
Michael Cramarossa supplied all the offence Belleville (18-15-3) would need, but Remi Elie added some insurance with an empty-net goal at 19:23 of the third period.
Lucas Peressini stopped 34-of-35 shots for the Frontenacs (14-15-5).

PETES 5 STEELHEADS 4 (SO)
PETERBOROUGH, Ont. — Eric Cornel scored the deciding goal in the shootout as the Petes edged Mississauga.
Josh MacDonald scored twice in regulation for Peterborough (13-18-4), Michael Clarke had a goal and two assists, and Greg Betzold rounded out the offence.
Sam Babintsev tied the game at 19:48 of the third period with a power-play goal for the Steelheads (17-17-2). Josh Burnside, Brandon Devlin and Austin Gerhart also scored.
