WASHINGTON - Victor Crus Rydberg had two goals, including the game-winner, as the Plymouth Whalers came back to beat the Saginaw Spirit 3-2 in Monday's lone Ontario Hockey League game.
Artem Artemov scored just over one minute into the third period to give Saginaw a 2-0 lead before Plymouth stormed back.
Crus Rydberg scored Plymouth's first goal at 3:47 of the third, and Mathew Campagna tied the game 1:20 later.
Crus Rydberg finished the flurry of goals at 6:52 of the third.
Vadislav Kodola had the other goal for Saginaw.
Alex Nedeljkovic made 28 saves for Plymouth (15-24-3), while David Ovsjannikov stopped 33 shots for Saginaw (19-22-2).
The Whalers were 0-for-5 on the power play, while Saginaw failed to convert on its only chance with the man advantage.
