Season series: The Ottawa Senators and Tampa Bay Lightning each won a game in Tampa. Lightning goalie Ben Bishop has saved 58 of 61 shots (1.44 goals-against average) and has a .951 save percentage. Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson has a goal and an assist. Ottawa has won five of the past six games at home against Tampa Bay.

Lightning team scope: Tampa Bay lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins 6-3 on Saturday to end a four-game winning streak. The Lightning had allowed seven goals in four games before allowing six on Saturday. The line of Tyler Johnson (three goals, four assists), Ondrej Palat (one goal, nine assists) and Nikita Kucherov (four goals, three assists) has combined for 24 points in the past five games. It's the third of a four-game road trip (1-1-0) for the Lightning, who will visit the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday.

Senators team scope: Ottawa defeated the Boston Bruins 3-2 in overtime on Saturday on a goal by Bobby Ryan. The Senators, who have won two straight games, haven't won three in a row since a four-game winning streak from Oct. 11-18. "We gained a point on some teams ahead of us," Ryan told the Senators website. "I don't know where the games in hand are sitting right now, but that's something we'll identify [Sunday]. Gaining a point on a lot of teams in the conference right now is the ultimate goal." Goalie Craig Anderson has allowed nine goals in his past five starts and is 3-1-1.
