{allcanada} 2015 Razzie Nominations: Transformers: Age of Extinction, Kirk Cameron and His Ego Among Worst of the Worst: Complete List!

 

Transformers: Age of Extinction has that Razzie-matazz, just like its illustrious predecessors.

As sequels Return of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon did in previous years, the fourth installment of Michael Bay's blockbuster franchise has, er, scored a nomination for Worst Picture ahead of the 35th Annual Golden Raspberry Awards.

In fact, the Mark Wahlberg-starring flick leads all comers with seven nods, including Worst Sequel, Worst Screenplay, Worst Screen Combo, Worst Director for Bay, Worst Supporting Actress for Nicola Peltz and Worst Supporting Actor for Kelsey Grammer. (Wow, way to escape unscathed, Mark!)

Transformers will have stiff competition in the Worst Picture category, which also includes Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas, Left Behind, The Legend of Hercules and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (which all of our friends liked, but it did only get a 21 percent fresh rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes).

Saving Christmas and The Legend of Hercules are both right up there with six nominations apiece, including a tip of the hat to Kirk Cameron and His Ego for Worst Screen Combo. Those two will battle it out against Charlize Theron and Seth MacFarlane in A Million Ways to Die in the West and Kellan Lutz's abs, pecs or glutes in The Legend of Hercules.

Speaking of stiff competition. 

Meanwhile, Blended star Adam Sandler is once again up for Worst Actor—that's got to be some kind of a record, right?

And though some is more of the same, the Razzies are trying out something new this year, introducing the Redeemer Award, to be given to a mega-star who once laid a few eggs and were dishonored by the Razzies but have since rebounded with critical success. Ben Affleck,Jennifer Aniston, Mike Myers, Keanu Reeves and Kristen Stewart make up the inaugural group of nominees.
