WINNIPEG -- The Philadelphia Flyers made sure that goaltender Rob Zepp's NHL debut was a happy one in a 4-3 overtime win against the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday.

The Flyers overcame a 3-1 third-period deficit and forced overtime when Vincent Lecavalier scored with 3:14 left in regulation. Jakub Voracek scored his second goal of the night 10 seconds into overtime for the Flyers, who have won back-to-back games.

With Steve Mason out because of an upper-body injury, Flyers coach Craig Berube elected to give the 33-year-old Zepp his NHL debut. Zepp spent the past six seasons with Eisbaeren Berlin of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga before he signed with Philadelphia this past summer. He played 17 games this season with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League before the Flyers recalled him Friday.

Zepp finished with 25 saves, and Mark Streit also scored for the Flyers (13-14-6), who are on an eight-game road trip.

Matt Halischuk, Dustin Byfuglien and Mathieu Perreault had goals for Winnipeg (17-10-7) to finish a 2-1-1 homestand. Ondrej Pavelec made 19 saves for the Jets, who have points in 11 of their past 12 games (7-1-4) dating to Nov. 25.

Voracek and Claude Giroux combined for two goals and six assists in a 7-4 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday, and they went to work early against Winnipeg. Voracek finished a 2-on-1 rush 46 seconds into the game, taking a pass from Giroux and sweeping it past Pavelec for his 13th goal.

Zepp faced eight shots in the first four minutes, but Halischuk made it 1-1 on the Jets' ninth shot. Halischuk scored his first goal since March 31 when he slipped past two Philadelphia defenders and beat Zepp with a slap shot at 6:38.

Fifty-five seconds later, Byfuglien moved off his right point and around the Philadelphia defense before putting a backhand shot from in close past Zepp for his eighth goal of the season.

Perreault sent the Jets ahead by two goals when Zepp could not control Mark Scheifele's shot, allowing Perreault to stuff it into the net from a tight angle at 11:21. An offseason signing from the Anaheim Ducks, Perreault's sixth goal extended his point streak to seven games (three goals, four assists).

Streit moved the Flyers back to within one goal when he used a screen in front of Pavelec to score his fifth goal at 6:06 of the third period.

The Flyers controlled the third period and had limited the Jets to one shot in the period when Lecavalier scored his first goal in 15 games. A healthy scratch for seven games from Dec. 2-16, Lecavalier intercept Winnipeg defenseman Jay Harrison's clearing attempt and put a shot under the crossbar for his third goal of the season.
