OTTAWA -- Mike Hoffman scored twice to help the Ottawa Senators to a 6-2 win against the NHL-leading Anaheim Ducks at Canadian Tire Centre on Friday.

The Senators won two games in a row for the first time since Nov. 4-6 and are 3-1-1 under coach Dave Cameron, who replaced Paul MacLean on Dec. 8.

It was the first time this season the Senators (14-12-6) scored six goals in a game.

Ducks goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov, starting his first game after signing as a free agent Dec. 9, made 25 saves. Frederik Andersen started the previous 20 games for Anaheim (22-8-5), which lost for the second time in three games after winning seven in a row.

The Senators were leading 4-0 when Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf scored twice in 2:33.

Hoffman's second goal of the game at 5:40 of the third period thwarted the Ducks' push.

Getzlaf made it 4-1 and broke the shutout streak of Senators goaltender Craig Anderson at 115:14 with 44 seconds left in the second period. The goal came off a neutral-zone turnover by Ottawa's Clarke MacArthur. Getzlaf took a pass in the slot from Emerson Etem and directed a shot over Anderson's glove hand.

Getzlaf made it 4-2 1:49 into the third period when he skated through the neutral zone, went around MacArthur, and then forced his way by the stick check of Senators defenseman Eric Gryba to cut to the Ottawa net. Getzlaf forced the puck by Anderson for his 12th goal of the season.

The Senators scored 42 seconds apart late in the second period to take a 4-0 lead.

With the Senators shorthanded and Turris facing a 1-on-3 situation just inside the Ducks blue line, he ducked by Anaheim forward Rene Bourque and then fired a shot into the top corner on Bryzgalov's glove side at 16:18.

It was Turris' seventh goal of the season and his third goal in his past two games after breaking a 10-game stretch without one.

Hoffman scored his ninth of the season at 16:59 after a turnover by Anaheim's Colby Robak, intercepting a pass and firing a shot from the slot that looked like it might have been deflected. It beat Bryzgalov to the stick side.

The Senators, coming off a three-game road trip when they earned five points, took a 2-0 lead on a power-play goal by Milan Michalek and Mark Stone's eighth goal of the season.

Each goal was the result of a strong presence by the Senators in the slot in front of Bryzgalov.

Michalek's third goal of the season was the result of some crafty work by Senators captain Erik Karlsson. The defenseman took the puck off the boards, and with a little bit of time, paused for a moment with his stick raised in the shooting position.

Michalek moved into the slot and Karlsson snapped a slap pass that Michalek deftly steered into the top of the net over Bryzgalov's right shoulder at 2:03 of the first period.

The goal was the Senators' 14th on the power play at home this season. They had 16 last season.

Stone made it 2-0 after some more crisp passing by the Senators as they enjoyed some time in the opposition zone, something that hasn't been a regular occurrence this season.

Turris extended his point streak to five games when he passed the puck from the right-wing corner to Mark Borowiecki at the left point. With Stone battling with Ducks defenseman Clayton Stoner in front, Borowiecki's shot was stopped, but Stone got his stick on the rebound at 8:02.

The Ducks, who were coming off a 2-1 win at the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday, finished a five-game road trip 3-2-0. Anaheim returns home and play the San Jose Sharks on Monday.

The Senators are on the road for games against the Canadiens on Saturday and the Washington Capitals on Monday.
