KITCHENER, Ont. - Mitchell Marner scored at the 13:10 mark of the third period as the London Knights slipped past the Kitchener Rangers 5-4 on Tuesday night in Ontario Hockey League action.

Aaron Berisha, John Warren and Victor Mete all scored in the second period for London (21-10-2), while Matt Rupert had the first goal of the game. Michael Giugovaz made 42 saves as the Knights earned their sixth-straight victory.

Nick Magyar, Adam Mascherin, Connor Bunnaman and Gustaf Franzen replied for Kitchener (14-11-6). Dawson Carty made 11 saves on 15 shots and was chased from the game after Mete's goal at the 14:51 mark of the second period. Matthew Greenfield stopped 7-of-8 shots in relief.

The Knights did not score on their three power plays. The Rangers, however, went 2 for 6 on the man advantage.

After the final whistle several penalties were handed out, with London's Chandler Yakimowicz and Kitchener's Brandon Robinson receiving game misconducts for leaving their respective benches. The Rangers's Max Iafrate also earned a game misconduct for cross checking.
