BRUINS (16-13-3) at JETS (16-10-6)

TV: NESN, TSN3

Season series: Defenseman Dougie Hamilton's overtime goal gave the Boston Bruins a 2-1 win against the Winnipeg Jets at TD Garden on Nov. 28. Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask made 35 saves, including 15 in the third period.

Bruins team scope: The Bruins did not practice Thursday and will finish a three-game road trip through the Central Division on Friday before returning home for two games. Boston had center David Krejci back in the lineup for a 3-2 overtime win against the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday. Playing with left wing Milan Lucic and right wing Seth Griffith, Krejci played 18:22 after missing 11 consecutive games because of a groin injury and 17 of the past 19 games. The Bruins went 3-7-1 during Krejci's absence. The win broke a two-game losing streak (0-0-2). Defenseman Adam McQuaid (thumb) is the lone injured Bruin with Boston continuing to get healthier. Left wing Simon Gagne (personal) also remains out. Goaltender Niklas Svedberg had 35 saves against Minnesota, including 20 in the second period, in his first game since Dec. 2.

Jets team scope: The Winnipeg blue line went through another transition Thursday. Coach Paul Maurice announced after practice that defenseman Mark Stuart will be out until February because of a lower-body injury sustained in a fight with Buffalo Sabres forward Nicolas Deslauriers on Tuesday in a 5-1 win at MTS Centre. Stuart joins Zach Bogosian (lower body), Toby Enstrom (lower body) and Jacob Trouba (upper body) as injured Jets defensemen. To reinforce his roster, Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff acquired defenseman Jay Harrison from the Carolina Hurricanes for the Ottawa Senators' sixth-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft that the Jets acquired last summer. Harrison, 32, played 20 games this season with Carolina, scoring a goal with three assists. The Jets will attempt to have Harrison arrive in Winnipeg in time for the morning skate Friday and expect he will dress against Boston. Left wing Evander Kane did not practice Thursday, which Maurice said was a maintenance day. The Jets conclude their four-game homestand Sunday against the Philadelphia Flyers.
