Eric Deslauriers is sticking around in Montreal.

The Alouettes announced they have signed the national receiver to a three-year contract extension.

"Eric is a great team player. He has sacrificed and played the role he has been asked throughout his career," Alouettes general manager Jim Popp said in a release. "He is also the energizer of our team. Very few players have the ability to get the attention of their teammates and get them to raise their level as Eric has."

Deslauriers has spent his entire eight-year career with the Als. The 33-year-old had 17 catches for 153 yards last year. For his career Deslauries has 99 catches for 1,334 yards and three touchdowns.
