This is good to know. I noticed a surprising lack of upgrade options on the webpages I was looking at. I wondered if the programs were made by the same people, but all the emails from anyDVD come from a place called Avangate, while the HD version says Slysoft. Sneaky buggers. - CP

Anydvd and AnydvdHD are both made by slysoft.

Years ago I bought a lifetime license for Anydvd, then they brought out AnydvdHD which caters also for bluray players.

When I bought a blu ray writer they wouldn't let me switch my license the buggers.

Obviouzly at this point an unscrupulous person may have sought out a cracked version!

I might have figured out one problem. It appears that there is more than one program called AnyDVD (made by different vendors), and the one I bought is probably the wrong one. I bought a program called AnyDVD cloner platinum, and looks like what I wanted was AnyDVDHD, which appears to be a completely different vendor and different interface. The AnyDVDHD program does a much better job telling me what kind of information is on the disk, while the other AnyDVD cloner program keeps hanging at 100% when making an ISO.

Now the problem is that when I attempt to buy AnyDVDHD it won't take my credit card info for some reason, and the other options are bitcoin and something called paysafe. This new combination seems to be working ok, but need to try more disks.

Also, if anyone has info on Mac style ISO, please forward as well. - CP

Just depends on the disc, mostly I don't use AnyDVD as they only allow it on a few PCs. Encrypted ones are normally an Issue.

I'm on a Windows 7 pc and I've just created an ISO with ImgBurn, loaded it in Foobar2000 and it worked without using AnyDVD.

Looking for any links or recommendations on how to make ISO's of DVD-A discs. Recently bought AnyDVD to use in conjuntion with ImgBurn, but so far not having success, even with a regular DVD movie. In any case, need to know if I actually need to have AnyDvdHd, or if I'm just having computer issues as opposed to software issues.

For the record, am equally comfortable with Mac or PC, just looking for good results.
