The Calgary Flames have signed unrestricted free-agent goaltender Jonas Hiller to a contract reportedly worth $9 million over two years.

In 50 games with the Anaheim Ducks in 2013-2014, Hiller posted a 29-13-7 record with a 2.48 goals against average and a .911 save percentage with five shutouts. Hiller's playing time diminished at the end of 2013-14 with the play of crease-mate Frederik Andersen and the emergence of 20-year-old rookie John Gibson.

The 32-year-old is coming off a four-year contract that had an average annual value of $4.5 million. In 326 career games with the Ducks, Hiller has a 162-110-32 record with a 2.51 GAA and a .916 save percentage with 21 shutouts.

The native of Switzerland was never drafted, but signed with Anaheim as a free-agent in 2007.

The Flames also signed unrestricted free agent forward Mason Raymond on Tuesday.

The deal is believed to be worth a total of $9.5 million over three years, for an average annual value of $3.167 million.

In 82 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2013-14, Raymond scored 19 goals and 26 assists. The Leafs signed him to a one-year deal worth $1 million for 2013-14 after a successful training camp tryout.

Raymond has appeared in 456 career games with the Maple Leafs and Vancouver Canucks, scoring 99 goals and 124 assists.
