WINNIPEG - Coach Mike O'Shea says the Winnipeg Blue Bombers would like to maintain the Canadian receiver ratio they had before the team lost two receivers at the end of last season.
They traded Jade Etienne to Saskatchewan for quarterback Drew Willy and Kito Poblah to the B.C. Lions for defensive back Korey Banks.
On the import side, veteran Terrence Edwards retired and Chris Matthews moved on to the NFL.
The team picked up free agent Nick Moore and have other promising imports in camp such as six-foot-six Mario Urruttia.
But O'Shea also says they believe they can start two Canadians at receiver.
They already have Cory Watson and Rory Kohlert on their roster and they've been joined at camp by prospects Taylor Renaud, Jordan Brescacin and Julian Feoli-Gundino.
