Ok, glad to hear that its now a stand alone player. I ordered Geek's "Pulse" desktop DAC months ago and look forward to hearing native stereo DSD throuth it. I believe when Geek originally started their crowd funded "Wave" campaign, it was supposed to connect to your smart phone. Thanks for clarifying that up. So now, pairing my AKG 701 with a $219 Wave seems pretty tempting.

I checked the website, but it wasn't totally clear to me. So, does the Geek Wave connect to your Cell Phone, or is it a standalone unit?
It it very interesting though to have this technology at a decent price point.
