I don't think it will fly. The public doesn't want to carry a separate Android/iPhone and a music player. And this device needs more features to make it to the audiophile group. It would be truly versatile if you could output digital to a separate DAC at home. Only the $1,300 unit has this feature, but it's only s/pdif, which limits you to 2-channel. So this keeps away the multi-channel fans. Have it decode ISO files and give it a micro HDMI output and price it below $500 and I'll consider it. :-)
