Fifty Shades Trilogy Bundle - E L James / Get Paid To Work From Home
Canadian IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe crashed out late during Sunday’s Indianapolis 500.
Hinchcliffe, Ed Carpenter and Townsend Bell were running three-wide behind leader Ryan Hunter-Reay on a restart with 25 laps to go. Bell bumped Carpenter’s car as Hinchcliffe attempted to make a pass on the inside for second place. Hinchcliffe and Carpenter collided and spun into the wall.
Hinchcliffe, from Oakville, Ont., started the race in the middle of the front row and led the first nine laps of the race.
Carpenter — the two-time Indianapolis pole winner — was critical of Hinchcliffe, saying on the broadcast it was an “amateur move” and “it’s a good thing he already had a concussion last week.”
Alex Tagliani, from Lachenaie, Que., was the top Canadian in the race finishing 13th followed by Jacques Villeneuve in 14th.
Villeneuve, from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Que., made his first return to Indianapolis Motor Speedway since capturing the 1995 Indy 500.
