Hey guys,
-- Some interesting reading on here. I've recently convinced a friend of mine to let me use his old PS3 for archiving my SACDs (thank goodness he left it at 3.55!).. I currently have no player, it broke, so they've been sitting on a shelf gathering dust... I hope the PS3 holds out long enough to get through them :)
Look forward to some interesting discussions - anyone have any opinions on listening to iso's through foobar2k with the sacd plugin vs JRiver's 'built-in' support - I just grabbed the trial so I could have a listen , I'm only running a Fiio E9K and a pair of Sony MDR-1Rs in the office but it sounds a hell of a lot better than FLACs ripped from CDs!. I thought I'd have to be coughing up for another SACD player , but this has put a smile on my face again listening to some of this stuff.
Cheers
