The Hamilton Tiger-Cats will have a new stadium next season, and they aren't going anywhere soon.
The city of Hamilton approved a 20-year lease deal for Tim Hortons Field with the Tiger-Cats, according to a report in the Hamilton Spectator, which will see the team play in Hamilton for at least the next two decades.
The Spectator reports the vote passed 9-7.
Earlier this month the Spectator reported construction on Tim Hortons Field was slightly delayed, but still expected ready for the Ticats home opener in late July.
