Justin Bieber may finally be ready to change his behavior.

After a string of recent legal troubles—including an arrest for an alleged DUI on Thursday, Jan. 23 followed by an assault charge  in Toronto in connection with an alleged attack on a limo driver that involved his entourage on Dec. 29—friends and family are hopeful that the Canadian-born pop star is prepared to focus on the positive aspects of his life.

"He's happy to be with family," a source exclusively tells E! News. "He's going to spend some time with them and is doing his best to keep focused and not be distracted. He's learning from the experiences of the past couple of weeks and knows it's time to move on and refocus his attention on work and family."

Following his arrest for the alleged DUI after he was pulled over for drag racing in Miami, the 19-year-old singer jetted to Panama, where he was joined by pal Usher, Chantel Jeffries, the model who was photographed with the "Boyfriend" singer in his rented yellow Lamborghini moments before the arrest, as well as manager Scooter Braun.

He is now in Stratford, Ontario, where he is spending time with his family, including his father, Jeremy Bieber, who tweeted a photo of his son sleeping in bed with his little brother Jaxon this morning, captioning the pic, "Safe and sound."

"He is happy to be at home," a second source tells E! News. "He is excited to see his little brother and sister and wants to spend time with them and his dad."

The Biebs has also been focusing on work in the wake of his legal woes, releasing the music video for his latest single "Confident" last night.

But J.B.'s career has undoubtedly been clouded by his recent controversies. His Wednesday music video release was overshadowed when the singer arrived to the Toronto Police Station to turn himself in that same day to "face an allegation of assault." He was finger-printed and had a mug shot taken, and then was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on March 10 at 11 a.m., local time.

Meanwhile, an attorney reportedly pleaded not guilty via a written plea on Bieber's behalf to allegations of driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license stemming from last week's Miami bust.

An arraignment is also scheduled for Feb. 14, but because the charges are all misdemeanors, Bieber will not be required to appear in person.

As for how the Biebs is doing post-arrest?

"He is good. He is being very positive," the second insider added.

Earlier this week, a source told E! News that Justin is "doing OK" despite the negative media attention, while a second insisted that mom Pattie Mallette is "being a mom, putting her son's best interests first, whatever that means at any time...she is with him when he needs her and will always be there for him."

But that doesn't mean that Pattie or Jeremy has taken control of Justin's life.

"Neither of his parents are calling the shots at all," another source tells E! News. "That's the problem."

E! News has also learned that Justin is indeed planning on moving out of his Calabasas, Calif. home following the infamous egging incident and subsequent police raid of his house which occurred on Tuesday, Jan. 14.

"He's going to head back to L.A. soon," the third source says. "He's not staying in Canada long. Yes, he's being moved out of the house. Another house has been arranged for him in L.A."

As for the latest on Egg-gate?

According to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. David Thompson, the case is still ongoing.

The District Attorney has asked authorities to further investigate the incident, and they have yet to decide whether or not they will have a judge issue a search warrant to access the singer's phone, which was taken during the raid.

Reps for Bieber are not commenting on our story.
