The Winnipeg Jets have signed forward Ryan Olsen to a three-year entry level contract worth $726,700 per season.
The 19-year-old Olsen played 34 games with the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL this season. In that time, he's recorded 17 goals and 17 assists with 36 penalty minutes.
The Delta, BC native has played in 238 career WHL games, between Saskatoon and Kelowna, for 71 goals and 65 assists and 228 career penalty minutes.
Olsen was originally drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the sixth round, 160th overall, in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
