{allcanada} Bieber catches waves, rays and trouble in Oz

A tour stop down under has given Justin Bieber a chance to take surfing lessons and, of course, get in trouble.

The morning after his first Aussie Believe concert in Brisbane, the 19-year-old pop star and his crew headed to famous Wategos Beach in Byron Bay to ride some waves.

The "Boyfriend" singer may not be as adept at hanging ten as he is at making teenagers riot and scream, but he gave it a try for a few minutes, before retiring to the beach to catch some rays and chat up some girls. His beach posse included his entourage of security guards and hangers-on including one adorned in a eye-catching, satin boxing robe.

Though the trip to Australia has provided a much needed change of scenery, Bieber's already managed to stumble into trouble. Just weeks after a graffiti stunt got him in hot water with Brazilian police, Bieber's tagging "skills" have drawn the ire of local politicians who've requested the pop star clean up his mess.
