The Montreal Canadiens are slowly returning to full strength, as head coach Michel Therrien told reporters on Thursday that forward George Parros will return to the lineup when the club takes on the Minnesota Wild on Friday night.
Therrien also confirmed that Max Pacioretty will play this weekend, with speculation that he will dress on Saturday night when the Habs visit the Colorado Avalanche.
Parros has been out of the lineup since he suffered a concussion in the Canadiens' 4-3 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Oct. 1, after slamming face first into the ice during a fight with Colton Orr. He was knocked unconscious after the tussle with Orr - their second fight of the game - brought him tumbling to the ice.
Pacioretty has been out since Oct. 15 with a strained left hamstring. He suffered the injury during an awkward fall in Montreal's 3-0 win in Winnipeg.
Therrien added that Carey Price will start Friday in Minnesota.
The Canadiens will also have injured forwards Daniel Briere (concussion) and Brandon Prust (shoulder) on the road, but neither will be playing as they are participating in the team's father-son road trip.
