It appears that the Montreal Alouettes will have to make do without Brandon Whitaker for several games.
Mathieu Proulx of RDS reports that Whitaker will miss 3-4 weeks with a shoulder injury.
Whitaker was hurt during Montreal's final offensive possession during their win over the Edmonton Eskimos last Thursday. He left the game but came out to watch Edmonton's final unsuccessful drive.
When Whitaker spoke to the media immediately after the game he didn't indicate an issue with the shoulder when asked about it.
The 27-year-old running back has gained 279 yards on 53 rushes for two touchdowns this season.
