TROIS-RIVIERES, Quebec, Canada – D.J. Kennington won the JuliaWine.com 100 at Circuit de Trois-Rivieres en route to his first NASCAR Canadian Tire Series victory of the season.

Kennington, the defending series champion from St. Thomas, Ont., passed Jacques Villeneuve on Lap 38 and held on the balance of the event at the 1.53-mile street circuit for his 19th career series win.
Last year's event winner Andrew Ranger crossed the line second in his No. 27 La Cite De Mirabel Inc. Dodge. It was his third runner-up finish at the track to go along with the four victories.
Jacques Villeneuve scored his second top-five at the track with a third place finish, followed by Jason Hathaway and Alex Tagliani.
Martin Roy, Alex Labbe, Scott Steckly, Jeff Lapcevich and Trevor Seibert completed the top ten.
The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series is in action next on Saturday, Aug. 17 for the Wilson Equipment 300 Supporting Red Cross Disaster Relief at Riverside International Speedway in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
