The Winnipeg Jets agreed to terms with forward J.C. Lipon on a three-year, two-way entry-level contract worth $2.1 million on Thursday.
The team said the average annual value of the deal is $700,000 per season.
Lipon was Winnipeg's third round pick in the 2013 Draft. The 20-year-old had 36 goals and 53 assists in 61 games for the WHL Kamloops Blazers last season.
The Regina native also played in five games for Canada at the 2013 World Junior Championship.
