I am 60 years old, unemployed nearly 2 years, so I can no longer afford to spend 30 bucks and much more on OOP cds and dvds. But thanks to learning online I can d/l an iso and burn it successfully; I can d/l cue/wav files and burn successfully (to play on my Pioneer universal dvd player) . I bought a handful of discs when I got the new universal player, and now I am broke and after having been able to find two obscure surround albums on avax to d/l and burn and have it work I am interested of course in learning more about the programs available, authoring or whatever else I need to get surround music from the internet to play on a dvd disc.
I am all about the surround sound, not better stereo fidelity. And classic quad music from the 50s - 80's. I would be happy to add what few titles and files I have to the effort, or to swap or however this forum is set up to work.
Anywho, mainly here to learn, hope to find a few 5.1 albums I can acquire to play with, make a friend or two, share what little I might add to the place...I look forward to becoming a part of the community.
Special thanks to those running and modding the place, hard work I know, little reward, and I apologize if my initial posts were harsh given my confusion over disappearing posts of mine. Being an unknowing newb is never comfortable.
Hope to get to explore the forum a lot! :)
