(MILLVILLE, N.J. – July 27, 2013) – Andrew Ranger knows his way around New Jersey Motorsports Park. Not only has Ranger won two straight ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards races at the road course, he looks like a threat to break the series qualifying record later today at the track. Ranger completed only four practice laps during two separate practice sessions Saturday but was the only driver to top the 100 mph average lap speed. He finished the second practice with the best time of any of the ARCA drivers, going around the 2.5 mile road course in 100.646 mph, or 80.48 seconds. The ARCA qualifying record was set in 2009 by Patrick Long, who qualified at 99.602 mph. The Menards Pole Qualifying Award presented by Ansell will be at 4:30 p.m. today. Nelson Canache was second, Chase Elliott third, Frank Kimmel fourth and Will Kimmel fifth in the second practice session.
