John Merrick (-9) has the lead in the second round of the RBC Canadian Open at Glen Abbey in Oakville, Ontario.

First round leader Brendan Steele, who shot a 7-under 65 to lead after the first round, tees off at 1:05pm et.

Mike Weir is the top Canadian at 5-under for the tournament.
