WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed McMaster receiver Michael DiCroce on Friday, the team's fourth round pick in the 2013 CFL Draft.
DiCroce, five-foot-nine, 190 pounds, was a first team All-Canadian and a finalist for the Hec Crighton Trophy in 2011, after leading the CIS in receiving with 48 receptions for 904 yards and six touchdowns.
He missed most of his senior season due to injury but returned for the playoffs, catching 26 passes for 384 yards and three touchdowns. DiCroce caught a team-high nine passes in the Marauders' Vanier Cup loss to Laval.
The Blue Bombers also said that Concordia defensive back Kris Robertson, the team's second round draft pick, suffered a serious injury after the draft that will force him to miss the entire season.
