{allcanada} DUFOUR-LAPOINTE, BILODEAU WIN DUAL MOGULS AT NATIONALS

VAL ST. COME, Que. -- Montreal's Maxime Dufour-Lapointe won the women's dual mogul event at the season-ending national mogul championships Sunday.

Dufour-Lapointe held off Andi Naude of Penticton, B.C., while Calgary's Clare Lambert trailed in third on the final day of the championships.

"I'm really pumped now," said Dufour-Lapointe, who won her first national title. "I just am so happy about how I skied and to have put on a great show and to show that our team is strong and to make the Canadian Championships a bit of a party and a good time.

"I hope I motivated the young kids by how I skied today."

On the men's side, Olympic champion and three-time world champion Alex Bilodeau of Rosemere, Que., won the dual moguls event.

Marc-Antoine Gagnon of Terrebonne, Que., was second, and Quebec City's Philippe Marquis took third.

Mikael Kingsbury of Deux-Montagnes, Que., opted to skip the event one day after taking the men's singles title. Chloe Dufour-Lapointe, Maxime's sister, won the women's singles title Saturday.
