Philippe Maillet and Angelo Miceli scored in the shootout Thursday as the Victoriaville Tigres defeated the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 4-3 in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Miceli also scored in regulation for Victoriaville (28-24-8), which got its other goals from Carl Marois and Phillipe Halley.
Jonathan Diaby added two assists, while Brandon Whitney made 30 saves.
Christophe Lalancette, with a goal and an assist, Patrik Zdrahal and Zach O'Brien scored for Acadie-Bathurst (23-31-7).
Jacob Brennan made 27 saves in taking the loss.
Elsewhere in the QMJHL it was: Blainville-Boisbriand 3, Baie-Comeau 2; and Drummondville 6, Chicoutimi 0.
At Bathurst, N.B., tied 1-1 after the first period, Lalancette gave the Titan a 2-1 lead at 10:24 of the second before Marois scored on the power play at 12:45 to tie it for Victoriaville.
Miceli gave the Tigres a 3-2 lead at 10:58 of the third, but O'Brien tied the score again just 33 seconds later with his 43rd goal of the season.
Victoriaville finished the night 1-for-7 on the power play, while Acadie-Bathurst scored once on its three chances with the man advantage.

At Blainville, Que., Etienne Marcoux made 22 saves as Blainville-Boisbriand (36-16-8) defeated Baie-Comeau (39-17-5).

At Drummondville, Que., Jerome Verrier had a hat trick and Olivier Archambault added two goals and two assists as the Voltigeurs (33-23-4) shut out Chicoutimi (26-29-7).
