The Montreal Alouettes announced contract extensions for three veteran pieces on Wednesday.
LB Chip Cox and receivers S.J. Green and Eric Deslauriers each agreed to new two-year deals with the club.
Cox, an Alouette since 2006, has three times been named a CFL All-Star with Montreal and last year led the team with four interceptions. The 29-year-old also finished second on the team in tackles with 82.
Green missed four games last season but still produced his second-straight 1,000-plus yards receiving season. Green was also named an East Division All-Star for the second straight season last year.
Deslauriers, a first-round draft pick of the Als in 2007, caught 13 passes for 299 yards last season. The Gatineau, Quebec native also plays a role on special teams for the Als.
Montreal also announced the release of import linebacker Rod Davis and non-import kicker Derek Schiavone on Wednesday.
