Ben Duffy had a goal and an assist as the P.E.I. Rocket downed the visiting Moncton Wildcats 4-1 on Friday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play.
The 20-year-old forward extended his point streak to five games and has five goals and seven assists in the process.
Josh Currie scored his league-leading 32nd goal of the season for the Rocket (21-14-2), who have now won three straight contests.
Duffy and Currie each have 63 points in 37 games, which gives them a tie for the lead in QMJHL scoring.
Jack Nevins and Louick Marcotte also scored for P.E.I. while Antoine Bibeau earned the game's first star after stopping 31-of-32 shots for his 12th victory of the season.
Allain Saulnier scored his 18th goal of the season for the Wildcats (23-13-1), who have dropped back-to-back outings, and Alex Dubeau made 17 saves in a losing cause.
P.E.I. went 1 for 1 on the power play while Moncton failed to score on either of its chances with the man advantage.
Elsewhere in the QMJHL, it was: Halifax 4, Cape Breton 1; Baie-Comeau 3, Quebec 2; Chicoutimi 4, Shawinigan 3; Sherbrooke 4, Gatineau 3 (SO) and Rimouski 3, Victoriaville 1.
At Charlottetown, Marcotte opened the scoring 2:28 into the first period with his 14th goal of the season to give the Rocket an early 1-0 lead.
Currie doubled his club's advantage with four minutes remaining in the period when he scored on the power play.
Just over three minutes into the second period Saulnier put the Wildcats on the board and the game stayed 2-1 for P.E.I. heading into the final period.
Moncton put 17 shots against Bibeau in the final 20 minutes, however they couldn't squeeze one past him and Nevins scored at 14:46 to give the Rocket a 3-1 lead.
Duffy scored into an empty net with only 11 seconds remaining to round out P.E.I's offence.

At Gatineau, Que., Alexandre Comtois scored the winner and Jacob Gervais-Chouinard stopped 33 shots in regulation and extra time, and another three shots in the shootout, as Sherbrooke (10-21-5) slipped past the Olympiques (13-20-3), who have dropped three games in a row.

At Rimouski, Que., Philippe Desrosiers stopped 25-of-26 shots and Michael Joly's second-period goal stood up as the eventual winner as the Oceanic (24-10-4) downed Victoriaville (15-17-6) for their seventh win in a row.
