Taylor Hall has been cleared to play and will likely suit up for the Oklahoma City Barons on Friday.

Hall had been recovering from a shoulder injury that cut his NHL campaign short by 11 games last season.

The 20-year-old had been practicing with the Barons, the Edmonton Oilers' AHL affiliate, and recently returned to Edmonton to get final clearance to suit up with Oklahoma City. There, he'll join other young Oilers players in Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Jordan Eberle, and Justin Schultz.

According to reports from KGHM 1340 in Oklahoma City, Hall will initially suit up on a line with Nugent-Hopkins and Eberle. The former first-round pick will, however, be held out of back to back games to begin with.

In two NHL seasons, Hall has 49 goals and 95 points in 126 games. Both seasons were cut short due to injury.
