The Edmonton Sun speculates it looked like another deliberate attempt to injure or at least target one of the high-profile players playing here with the OKC Barons.

Antoine Roussel of the Texas Stars appeared to go after Jordan Eberle knee-on-knee.

"It sure felt like it. It was on my knee," said Eberle.

"Was it intentional? Who knows."

Roussel was given a five-minute major for kneeing. and a game misconduct for kneeing.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins played the game with a cage on his helmet as a result of taking a stick in the mouth from star forward Mikael Granlund in the previous game and Justin Schultz has had to handle a great deal of spit and abuse from visiting teams.

"Roussel plays a pretty hard game," said Barons coach Todd Nelson. "We saw him last year with the Chicago Wolves.

The positive was that Colten Teubert stepped up in both games and immediately (instigator penalty) started pounding on the player.

"As a team we know they are out main guys," said Teubert.

"It had to be done," he added.

"That's fine with me," said Nelson.

"It was great to see him stand up for teammates both games. And I like the way he's playing defensively."
