[SurroundSound] Re: ELP Surround Re-issues to include Hi-Rez DVD-As

When Sony produces a player with DVD-A playback, then it will truly be Armaggedon.

Sony had the "dual disc" format which really is about the same thing as DVD-A. Sometimes a dual-disc didn't contain the 24 / 96 5.1 MLP surround mix. instead, sometimes the disc offered a 5.1 DD lossy surround mix or even two-channel mixes. I guess Sony will try any format as long as they can find buyers. Do you suppose they might even try selling music-only discs on bluray?

Who'd of ever thought that a DVD-A would ever be released under a Sony label, even if they aren't paying for it.
