It didn't take long for the Toronto Raptors to move past the loss of Steve Nash and on to Plan 'B'.
Reports indicate the Raptors have acquired Kyle Lowry from the Rockets in exchange for a first-round pick and Gary Forbes.
The Rockets and Raptors are working on something "innovative," source says, with lottery protection on 1st round pick returning to Houston.

Rockets-Raptors pick will be protected both ways. Rockets won't get it if too high, but also will wait if Raptors season makes it too late.

Lowry was the Rockets starting point guard until suffering a knee injury while playing in Toronto against the Raptors midway through last season. He posted career highs averages in points 14.3 and rebounds (4.6) while also recording 4.6 assists per game.
Lowry said good-bye to Houston via Twitter almost immediately after the trade details leaked out:
I just want to thank the city of Houston and the fans for showing me love like I was one of y'all own, and I'll always keep that in my heart
