The Vancouver Canucks re-signed a pair of forwards Monday, agreeing to contracts with Andrew Ebbett and Steve Pinizzotto.
Ebbett, 29, appeared in 18 games for the Canucks in 2011-12, recording five goals and six points, including two overtime game-winners. He reportedly signed a two-way contract that will pay him $600,000 at the NHL level and $300,000 at the AHL level.
Ebbett has played in 163 career NHL games over the span of five seasons with the Ducks, Blackhawks, Wild, Coyotes and Canucks, collecting 24 goals and 58 points.
Pinizzotto, 28, impressed during his first training camp with the Canucks but ended up missing all of last season due to a shoulder injury that required surgery. Terms of his deal were not immediately available.
The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Pinizzotto previously spent the 2010-11 season with the Washington Capitals' AHL affiliate, the Hershey Bears, collecting 17 goals, 42 points and 178 penalty minutes in 68 games. He finished the regular season with the team's best plus/minus at plus-40. He also appeared in six AHL playoff games, recording two goals, four points and six penalty minutes.
