That was not my point at all and in fact after I had posted it I assumed you would  make this out of my comments.
I was being slightly lateral and referring to the fact that if folks have not worked out that HiRes is better than Red book stereo; then some chance of (these guys) pushing for surround. They appear to love the kit more than the music. These guys in the thread were still debating about matters that we put to bed years ago.
