The Hamilton Tiger-Cats will have to wait another year before trying to sign one of their second-round draft picks, linebacker Frederic Plesius.
According to a report in the Hamilton Spectator, Plesius will return to Laval to play his senior season with the Rouge et Or.
Plesius attended rookie camp with the Philadelphia Eagles on a tryout basis in mid-May, but wasn't signed to a contract.
Rather than signing a rookie deal with the Tiger-Cats, which is for a minimum of two years, Plesius will play one more season at Laval and look at NFL options once again next off-season.
