Canadian Milos Raonic jumped two spots to No. 23 in the ATP world rankings after reaching the semifinals of the Barcelona Open this week.
Raonic's jump from No. 25 marks a new career-high for the Thornhill, Ont. native.
The hard-serving 21-year-old defeated fourth-ranked Andy Murray to advance to the semis, where he was then ousted by Spain's David Ferrer in straight sets.
Raonic hit 15 aces against sixth-ranked Ferrer, displaying the same forceful serve that led to his upset of Murray in the quarter-finals.
