MONTREAL -- The Montreal Impact have picked up a Ferrari.
That's Italian central defender Matteo Ferrari, a 32-year-old who spent the last two seasons playing in Turkey.
Before that, he played in Italy for Inter Milan, Parma, and AS Roma.
Ferrari has won 11 caps for Italy and represented his country at the 2000 and 2004 Olympics and Euro 2004.
The Impact are preparing for their inaugural season in Major League Soccer.
