Christopher Plummer, Amy Price-Francis, Billy MacLellan and Rick Mercer were the big winners at the 2012 ACTRA awards, which were presented Saturday night in Toronto.
ACTRA (Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists) honoured Plummer as the outstanding male performer for his role in the movie Barrymore.
Price-Francis was victorious as the outstanding female performer for her role in the TV series King, which returns for its second season this coming Wednesday, Feb. 29, on Showcase.
MacLellan won for outstanding voice performer for his work in the CBC radio drama Afghanada. Mercer, meanwhile, was named the recipient of the ACTRA 2012 award of excellence.
