Canadian TV has a habit of aping the United States, in ways that can be either good or evil.
It'll be up to viewers to determine where the upcoming reality series The Real Housewives of Vancouver fits into that equation. Anyway, The Real Housewives of Vancouver debuts April 4 on Slice, and the "stars" - term used very loosely - have been announced.
They are: Christina Kiesel, jet-setter. Jody Claman, self-made businesswoman. Mary Zilba, singer and former pageant queen. Ronnie Seterdahl Negus, winery owner and luxury-toy aficionado. Reiko MacKenzie, adrenaline junkie, whatever that means.
The is the first attempt to launch a Real Housewives series in Canada. American versions of the show have been set in Orange County, New York City, Atlanta, New Jersey, Beverly Hills, Miami and D.C.
