Mastodon and Opeth are getting ready to double-team Canadian metal fans.
The American and Swedish heavyweights are joining forces on the Heritage Hunter tour, which will invade the country for seven shows this spring.
Named for their latest albums -- Mastodon's fifth disc The Hunter and Opeth's 10th album Heritage -- their rampage north of the border commences April 6 in Montreal and concludes a month later in Winnipeg.
See below for a full list of dates, cities and venues.
Although it's billed as a co-headlining tour, Opeth will close all the Canadian shows, except for a May 4 gig at Calgary's MacEwan Hall.
According to a press release, the tour also includes opening act Ghost, though it's unclear whether they mean the Swedish metal band or the Japanese experimental-rock outfit. Either way, more international bang for your buck.

Tickets for most shows go on sale Friday, Feb. 3 at Ticketmaster.
They'll set you back between $38 and $83, depending on the city, venue and seating.
