WINNIPEG - The fallout from a hazing incident continues to plague a troubled Manitoba Junior Hockey League franchise.
The Neepawa Natives team has apologized to players, fans and sponsors while the team's coach and general manager Bryant Perrier resigned.
The apology and news of Perrier's resignation were posted on the M-J-H-L website.
The hazing incident came to public notice last month when the league announced a five-thousand-dollar fine and suspensions.
It was later learned that players were required to walk around the locker room with objects tied to their genitals.
Instead of dying down, the story grew when it was revealed the player who blew the whistle on the incident was benched for more games than those responsible.
He has since moved to a team in the U-S and a long list of players have also left or been traded.
